This German Tudor style Black Forest cuckoo clock features animated dancers, deer and water wheel. This is a very colorful cuckoo clock starting with the shutter doors and hand painted dancers. There are flower arrangements under the window and next to the water wheel. Two deer are grazing in the front next to the feeder and a pile of wood.
The clock is powered by a German Regula movement which must be wound daily. Three cast iron pine cones apply gravity to the tarnish resistant chains which drive the movement, time and cuckoo call. The Swiss music box plays 2, 22 note melodies as the dancers dance. The dial, numerals, hands and cuckoo bird are all made of wood. There is a night shut off switch for quiet time and night use. This cuckoo clock is made by Anton Schneider in Schonach, Germany.
