Manufactured by Anton Schneider, this authentic cuckoo clock was hand-carved in the Black Forest region of Germany. Clock is made of wood, with wooden dial, wooden hands, and wooden house. The cuckoo bird is also made of wood. 

Certificate of Authenticity is included from the Black Forest Clock Association (sometimes referred to as being VDS-Certified). Only clocks, manufactured by hand in the Black Forest region of Germany and with mechanical clockworks, qualify for this certification.

The cuckoo bird comes out to "cuckoo" the count of the hour, every hour, and "cuckoos" once every half hour. There is a silencing lever on the left side of the clock, to silence the clock at night. The weights have to be pulled up every day.

Manufacturer warranties this clock for a period of two years.
